What is an organism that feeds on other organisms? Give examples. Where did you find your information? You can post as a group or on your own.

A consumer is an organism that feeds on other organism. We are consumers because we eat meat, vegetables and fruit. Leopard seals are consumers because they eat penguins. The word consumer was a spelling word in Ms. Jenkins’ class. We learned about it when we were doing our ecosystems kit. (AQ, TJ, IO, SL)

An organism that feeds off another organism is called a consumer. For an example a frog is a consumer.Because it eats flys.We learned our info
from our science class. And from our ecosystems kit. That is how we know what an organism feeds off of.

A consumer is an organism that eats another organism. An example is an anteater because it eats ants. A bear is a consumer because it eats fish. We got our information from Mrs. Jenkins’ spelling words, science class and the dictionary.

We learned that an organism that eats other organisms is a comsumer. For example:A spider eats mosquitos and flies. Another example:A T-rex is a carnivor that eats meat. We got our information from our teacher, when we did our ecosystems, and our science book.

Comsumers are the next link in a food chain. There are three levels of consumers. The levels start with the organisms that eat plants.Scientists named this first group of organisms the primary consumers. They are also called herbiuores. They are the plant eaters of the chain. We found this on the website http://www.geography4kids.com
